These are intended to be used in a single or 2 tier cot configuration only. Triple stacking any of the models would be considered a misuse of the product and all warranties would be rendered null and void.
You could buy another set of kids beds and only bring 1 of the beds to use separately. The XL and XXL have a trundle bed you can purchase separately but for kids it would be way too large.

Yes the fabric comes easily off the steel frame. But it is not meant to be machine washable. All canvas parts can be washed down using a non-abrasive cloth/sponge, a mild detergent and cold water and simply air dry. It is suggested to test the detergent on a small area to see color fastness.
With that said, from all the reviews I have looked at, several people have machine washed the fabric and it has been fine. So it is up to you if you want to give this a try.
